Lane Match-ups – Samsung Blue

Top -
Ryze should have a pretty decent time against Kassadin, having stronger bully potential and able to keep Kassadin away from using his auto attack buff. As Ryze naturally builds tanky, this only helps to increase his strenght against Kassadin. Ryze should look to bully Kassadin at ever opportunity and keep him away from the creep line as much as possible. With both buying scaling items, Ryze should not even have to worry about his power-dip.

Mid -
Twisted Fate is going into a really rough match-up. While he can put pressure onto Fizz for the first level, it becomes increasing risky, especially at level 3 on. His best bet is going to be staying far away from Fizz, using Wild Cards to farm from a distance and waiting until level 6 to make plays elsewhere on the map. Respecting how much of a counter Fizz is will be essential for any type of safety or ability to be useful around the map. Avoid Fizz, long range farm, and gank other lanes with ultimate.

Bot -
Lucian/Sona have the advantage over Twitch/Janna, having very strong poke, all-in, and sustain. They should be able to take over this lane, especially against Twitch who cannot do quick harassment trades and whose range is short enough for Sona to get in to hit him. SSB's duo should be looking to bully the lane from the very start and continue to for the entirety of the laning phase. Really there is nothing that SSB need to worry about, being able to stop Twitch's level 6 attempts as well with Sona's ultimate.

Jungle -
Rengar is going to want to farm as quickly as possible, getting to 6 and making use of his ultimate to pull of solid ganks, especially against Kassadin with Ryze. Even before 6 a gank against Kassadin should be strong. Rengar should look to protect Ryze and Twisted Fate against ganks, with his bottom lane fine on their own, however his focus should still be on farming until 6.

Lane Match-ups – Samsung White

Top -
Kassadin is moving into a rough match-up. Lacking range and only having one (sometimes two) spells to fight against Ryze's three, he will be losing any harassment or trade attempts. At 6 things will only be worse as Ryze will gain AoE and spell-vamp where as Kassadin will still be unable to make use of his auto attack spell. Kassadin's best bet is going to be getting what farm he can scrounge up against Ryze and wait for either a Lee Sin gank or his level 6. At level 6 Kassadin may just want to let the lane go and look to roam for ganks, especially for Fizz.

Mid -
Fizz is a huge counter-pick to Twisted Fate and should be looking to dominate him early on. Fizz will have to wait until at least level 2, but then he will have a great time pushing Twisted Fate around. Pole hop can dodge Twisted Fate's stun, while his dash will get him in range to deal way more damage than Twisted Fate is able to return. Bullying Twisted Fate will be essential for keeping him down and keeping him from being able to to make plays around the map. Once Fizz hits level 6, instead of just bullying Twisted Fate, anytime he lands his fish ultimate, Fizz should be able to get the kill onto Twisted Fate pretty easily, or at least send him home with very little health.

Bot -
SSW should be looking to hit the 2v1 lane swap, as this duo of Twitch/Janna is weak to SSB's duo lane. In the 2v2, there would be little that SSW's duo could do, and so they must make sure that they find the 2v1. This will let Janna roam better than Sona, and let Twitch get the farm he needs to reach assassin status. If they end up in the 2v2, they will have to scrounge up what farm they can while not getting pushed out of lane too early by SSB's duo.

Jungle -
Lee Sin is going to want to use his early game prowess to help out Kassadin primarily. Ganks against mid will also be strong, mostly due to Fizz as a counter-pick, with Lee Sin providing that over the hump slow/damage to secure the kill. At 6, ganking Ryze should help Kassadin pick up a kill/assist, so long as Rengar does not counter-gank. An early Sight Stone from Lee Sin will help his team keep track of Rengar.

Team Composition/Strategy – Samsung Blue

*Win Condition – Get picks and snowball into a lead.

SSB have a strong team with a lot of pick potential. Four champions are able to provide solid CC (though Sona's is on her ultimate) and will allow SSB to capitalize on SSW's mistakes, as well as make their own plays. This is a real team composition from SSB, even if there are some squishy members. SSB are going to need to play strong individually, and play for picks as long as they can. With a lead they can siege up a turret, as long as they are very careful about the Twitch and Fizz engagement. They will need good wards to prevent flanks, and will have to have good reactions to turn onto members of SSW. Stun Card from TF and Sona's ultimate's should be used after a snare from Ryze or Rengar hits, to prevent the dodging from Kassadin and Fizz. Must be warned, SSW are going to be looking for picks too. The strength of SSB will be how fast they can get to them with TF/Rengar ultimate where as SSW will have more opportunities. It's going to be a very pick filled brawling team. SSW have mobility, SSB have the control.

Team Composition/Strategy – Samsung White

*Win Condition – Use the mobility of their champions to find picks and number advantage skirmishes. Have fizz control Twisted Fate.

Similar to SSB's team, SSW are also looking for picks, but where as SSB are looking for them with CC, SSW are looking for them with burst and mobility. More assassinations than control. Number advantages will work highly in SSW's favor. They should look to get past the initial weak laning phase and then start to take advantage of roaming ability, especially from Fizz. Fizz + Lee Sin can basically control a side of the river/jungle, forcing TF to ultimate to the other side of the map. SSW can make TF ganks more predictable and should. If all goes well, SSW have a team that will far out-match SSB in the late game, so they do having something to fall back on, should the game go bad.

Game Notes -

SSW are able to get a 3 buff start, playing the lane swap better. Since SSB sent their duo top, but did not invade and did not start Red, they lose out when SSW's duo heads bottom.

Twisted Fate gets too close to Fizz and takes a lot of damage. Watch how beautiful the Fizz play is though. He pole hops in, at level 1, as the creep he needs for level 2 is about to die.

A great Janna Tornado stops Rengar from his brush leap to try to smite the red buff.

Twitch/Janna just outplay Ryze/Sona and get a kill they really should not have gotten, killing Ryze.

A good defensive ward catches Rengar out and Kassadin/Lee Sin are able to pick him off.

Twitch is dealing so much damage on Ryze, since Ryze has no armor runes.

SSW are already pulling ahead in the side lanes, making it very hard for TF coming up.

*Fizz's first back gets him a Doran's Ring and 2 Amplifying Tomes. He could have bought say... a Sheen or say an Arm-guard. But this setup gives him more AP and some hp/regen. The AP will allow him to clear the waves much faster, even if denying him some duel potential.

SSB make a great 5 man dive onto the bottom turret of SSW. They use TF ultimate and Ryze TP. SSW follow, but are too late in getting there with Lee Sin and Fizz.

SSB move to dragon with the 5v3, but they are low. SSW make the engagement 5v3, are able to steal dragon, and get a 4 for 1 at the dragon pit. SSB's good play over reaches for more, and get picked on by the mobility of SSW. Too much is down for SSB to be able to make this fight. Greedy play that will really cost them this match. 3 kills onto Kassadin =/

SSW now use their mobility and strength to just, run SSB rampant. Starting with a 4 man dive mid onto TF and then taking the tower.

SSB do take the bottom turret, and get some pressure onto the T2 turret, but SSB are just demoralized now. Evidenced by TF's Mejai's and sloppy play.

SSB just, jump into the middle of the SSW team in the jungle, and get assassinated 1 by 1.

Game is over, not much to watch here now.

End Game Notes -

Already demoralized, SSB just get out-classed this game after a failed dragon attempt.

What Samsung Blue should have done -

It was the dragon fight. Morale was low, got a high point at the turret, but it fell when they got destroyed at the dragon and that was just the end for SSB.

The problem was greed at the dragon, but you can't overly fault it from an emotional sense. SSB had a 5v3, and thought, if we can just get one more thing.
