Lane Match-ups – Kabum! E-sports

Top -
Irelia will get bullied by Ryze early and will be reduced to surviving and farming. It will be rough for a while, but being lower than Ryze will keep his kill potential almost non-existent during the low levels, as well as providing Irelia with an easy way to set up a gank through the long duration of her stun. Once Irelia reaches and 6 and picks up a Sheen, she will have more control over the lane than Ryze. Her all-in onto Ryze will be superior while Ryze is scaling up with his tear/catalyst. Every opportunity after this point should be used to push Ryze out of lane and potentially kill him. Jungle ganks from Lee Sin will be extremely potent and should be a priority.

Mid -
Zilean is going to be in a bit of a rough spot. He will have to try to get to the point of being able to wave clear with double bombs as soon as possible as Lulu will shove into him very hard and will have a much stronger ability to harass. Zilean just has to make sure he does not fall behind, and that he does not allow Lulu to get a ton of damage onto his turret. Let the passive exp bonus create its effect in the other lanes.

Bot -
KBM's bot lane is going to get bullied. There is a lot more early lane presence from NWS and it would probably be best to look for a lane swap. However, there is some saving grace in Black Shield, as it can stop a majority of NWS's poke early on. Getting Lee Sin to make an early gank onto Nami may be a way for KBM to even out the lane if they get in a 2v2.

Jungle -
Farm, try to beat Khazix to 6 using Zilean passive and be ready to take advantage of the experience lead the moment level 6 comes into play, most likely in top lane, but potentially in bottom or mid as well.

Lane Match-ups – Najin White Shield

Top -
Ryze can bully Irelia, though it might not be so wise. With Irelia lower than Ryze, it will put Ryze at risk to be ganked easily by Rengar. Harassment should only be done when he knows that Rengar is on the other side of the map and must be wary anytime his presence is not accounted for. Be especially mindful of low hp ranged creeps and the ability of Irelia to double gap close in those situations. If possible, try to keep the wave slightly on NWS's side of the river, giving more time to chase Irelia in a gank, since she has built in tenacity to deal with Ryze CC, and because Ryze will need a short escape route if he gets ganked.

Mid -
Lulu has a large advantage over Zilean. She can push just as hard if not harder than Zilean, while also having much more harass and sustained damage. Lulu should look to push and push hard, keeping Zilean stuck at the turret and making it hard for him to properly CS. Get as much tower damage as possible, opening up the map for her team.

Bot -
A much stronger lane than KBM's. Should look to bully early. Corki and Nami could even try to all in at level 1, then sustain the damage after. Once level 3 hits, then they will have even more bully potential, Nami's full kit coming into play, allowing Corki to really bully Tristana. In all-ins, Nami and Corki can make sure to burn through Black Shield before Nami uses her CC. Lane should start in NWS's favor and stay there.

Jungle -
Farm Khazix farm. Should look towards the top lane to protect Ryze from a gank from Lee Sin as that should be the only vulnerable lane. Other than that, wait for the small skirmishes to start to break out and farm till then.

Team Composition/Strategy – Kabum! E-sports

*Win Condition – Use the mid-game power of Irelia and Zilean to make it through the mid-game until Tristana can reach hyper carry status, then move to protect her while pushing against NWS.

KBM do not have a solid team composition, but they do however have a solid plan. Kabum want to use Irelia and Zilean to survive through the mid-game, hopefully coming out on top and then transition to a point where Tristana can take over the game with Zilean and Morgana protecting her. Early on a lane swap will give Tristana the time she needs to not get destroyed in lane, though it will hurt Irelia.
Against Lulu Corki it will be hard to make plays in the mid-game, however the same will go for NWS against KBM's Irelia and Zilean.

Team Composition/Strategy – Najin White Shield

*Win Condition – Use the early and mid game power of Lulu and Corki to control the map while Ryze scales up into his late game potential.

NWS have drafted a strong team in almost all aspects of the game. A strong 2v2 lane with great mid-game power from Corki and control for Nami. Lulu will also provide huge protection to any of NWS's members during fights and especially for Ryze later on once he reaches his hyper carry status. NWS will look to take control of the lanes early, as all of them can bully from level 1, and then transition into mid-game neutral objective control. Corki will be great at sieging towers as well, with his high ability to poke. NWS just need to take control of the map early, and then slowly turn that control into towers and late game Ryze power.

Game Notes -

Kabum lane swap and pull off an aggressive buff steal, taking NWS's red buff with Tristana.

Kabum do miss out on the freeze, while NWS do get the freeze going.

Lanes turn into Ryze/Nami top against KBM's duo lane. Great response by NWS, allowing their top laner to get CS while Irelia is unable to. Does not go too bad for Kabum, and the top laners even out.

KBM tower dive Ryze after a great binding and after Nami left, earning them First Blood.

A great rotation by Morgana, to the fight at bottom saves Irelia's life.

KBM switch their duo back to the bot lane, now that Tristana has her BF sword and to create even pressure at the dragon. NWS's duo lane is still much stronger though.

Irelia with Sheen and level 6 is able to start to bully Ryze.

NWS start a very unsafe dragon, just trying to make something happen. KBM is able to steal it with Lee Sin. KBM do stick around after the steal a bit too long, trying to save Lee Sin, and it does cost them the mid turret as KBM are low and forced to heal.

Irelia is unable to get an advantage against Ryze during her short bully period, and is now really far behind Ryze and the window of power is lost. Lee Sin does recognize this and makes a gank top, and KBM get a kill on Ryze and the top turret.

Tristana tries to trade with Corki often this game, great to show aggression, however Tristana will always come out behind this early on.

NWS start to pressure the top lane, knowing Corki has a lot of power now with his Trinity Force.

Tristana tried to fight Lulu, however Tristana still is not to her 2/3 item spike.

Game is going pretty slow at this point, both teams are out to let their hyper carry scale up. Irelia is having a hard time finding farm though, as opposed to Ryze who is able to find his.

Zilean makes what looks to be mouse click errors, and runs into NWS's team instead of away.

NWS are doing a great job of controlling the map, though the gold lead is minor.

Lee Sin and Irelia try to 2v1 Ryze, but Ryze is too strong at this point and is able to push both of them away. KBM also grouped up for Ryze's AoE a bit too much. NWS collapse and turn this into 2 kills and a tower.

NWS are slowly growing a lead.

Tristana goes third item Blood Thirster. Good against everyone but Ryze at this point.

KBM try to make a play with Lee Sin, but lock-up stops him from being able to make a play and KBM get caught out trying to save him. NWS get 4 kills, mid inhibitor, and Baron. Massive gold lead now and this will be the true end of the match.

Item Notes -

Love how Morgana is building towards Mikael's instead of Zhonya's, as Tristana will need it later against Ryze flash snare.

End Game Notes -

A well played game by both sides.

The freeze against Irelia not be mirrored against Ryze really hurt Kabum. Irelia was almost a non-factor in the game, falling far behind.

NWS, with the stronger lanes and mid-game, especially with Irelia denied, were able to control the map and push into a nice slow, controlled victory.

Lee Sin tried hard to make some plays, and they did not work out but came close.

What Kabum! E-sports should have done -

KBM mainly needed to play the lane swap better. Irelia got too far behind and it really knee-capped their mid-game. NWS were able to control the map and let Ryze do his thing, getting to the point of being able to 2v1. When KBM did not hit the freeze on top lane and saw that Corki started it on the bottom lane, KBM should have looked for an early 4 man tower dive on the top lane to prevent Ryze from getting gold and experience, thus keeping Irelia even with him by keeping Ryze down.

Other points during the game, Lee Sin tried to make plays and they really did not work out. His mechanical skill was just not there this game, and at least twice his team tried to save him, and it cost them big. First time a turret in mid, and the second time lead to nail in the coffin for Kabum.

Remember, if you are going to lane swap your mid-game power top laner who needs gold to be useful, have a plan to make sure they do not fall behind.
